State Resources
State government is organized into several dozen departments, most of which are grouped together into a smaller number of agencies. While the vast majority of state government agencies and departments are headquartered in Sacramento or in parts of Sacramento County, but most of the larger agencies and departments also have local offices around the state. All are designed to provide services to, or in some way benefit, the residents of our state. The following are links to the websites of some important state offices.
